Pathos:makes the audience feel a certain way about a cause or feel remorse for not accepting the argument. Usually used as a call to action or for a certain law to be passed.
Logos: The writing illustrates why the position taken is logical in light of evidence.
Ethos: attempt to gain the audience support for the writer's argument by portraying the writer as the type of person the audience would be likely to listen to and support.
Appeal to Authority: Using credible resources to gain support for the point of view presented.
